Are you looking for an affordable method for implementing a daily/weekly news action team? If so, this session will provide the basics to begin facilitating a fun and exciting journalism class. You will explore opportunities for students to write scripts, record the news, and produce daily/weekly announcement videos. Patty will share how she began with no budget and built a Multimedia Class that is student-driven and will be ready for the KSTL competition.

This session will focus on the use of student Chromebooks, WeVideo, Google Classroom, and a mobile recording unit that consists of a rolling tripod and iPad.
